Peanut Beetles are very easy to culture, low maintenance, and have less smell than most live food cultures. The larvae are harvested and fed to fish, not the adult beetles. Amazonas magazine has an article (link below) that explains that they are the most nutritious live food available to hobbyists. Keep them in a substrate of oatmeal, and add raw peanuts and a slice of firm vegetable (squash, zucchini, potato, yam, etc). You get a starter culture with 100+ beetles for $15.99 with free standard shipping. Additional cultures add $8. I find standard moves just as fast as priority, but I'm happy to ship priority if you prefer, just add $9. These handle extreme heat, but don't like the cold, so contact me for shipping options if temperatures between us are below 40* (I"m shipping from Austin, TX). I accept PayPal and VenMo , or contact me about other methods of payment.
