Lexington Angelfish I will from time to time list a variety of angelfish and Bristlenose Plecos Before shipping, I fast the fish in a tank with established filters. The fish will fast for at least a day for smaller sizes and a couple days for larger. I do daily 50% water changes each day while they are fasting. The day of shipping I will dose with a product that will neutralize any ammonia that may form during shipment. I triple bag each groups of fish. Also the bags are curved in the corners so fish don�t get stuck during shipment. I will not ship until temps in your area are under 20 degrees Fahrenheit, I have found the heat packs (one is provided with each shipment) cannot overcome prolonged temperatures lower than that. I use pure oxygen in the bag. This allows you to use more water (and less gas), which can help keep temperatures from fluctuating as quickly. Styrofoam insulation will be placed on all four sides plus the top and bottom of the box. If you have any questions please ask.
