About Me
After 36 year I retired in 2006 from the US Coast Guard. I was the sixth Enlisted Ancient Mariner of the Coast Guard with over twenty years afloat and Officer in Charge of four cutters. For the last fourty years I have bred and raised angelfish when possible and for the last 25 years I have bred and raised fancy livebearers. My biggest claims to fame fishkeeping would be winning the Presidents Trophy(having the most 1st, 2nd, 3rd's) at the Greater Akron Aquarium Society Show in the middle 1980's. This is back when it was the biggest show in the country and winning best in show livebearer(hi-fin platy) at the Canadian Assoc. of Aquarium Clubs Convention during the same timeframe. I am a ruthless culler of fish that don't meet my high standards and would never sell a fish I wouldn't buy myself. All fish I offer at auction have been born or hatched in my fish room. Shipping, Guarantee Policy and Payment
First off please E-mail with any questions not covered or unclear. Before packing, fish will be purged (fasted) for at least 24 hrs. Fish will be pro packed, double bagged, inside a box liner with heat packs if necessary, inside a styrofoam lined box. I ship USPS or UPS all methods guaranteed live delivery. The guarantee excludes refunding shipping. To honor the guarantee all you need to do is call me within one hour of the actual shipment arrival/first delivery attempt as stated by the carrier. I will provide you my phone number at the time of purchase and a card will be in the box. I accept PayPal or USPS money orders. Again if any questions contact me, we will work it out.
