Welcome to SFF Aquatics. I am located in Northeastern Illinois just outside of Chicago. I am a freshwater aquarium hobbyist that has been keeping aquariums since 2014. Most of my tanks are kept in a small spare bedroom of my house. I prefer unheated tanks and therefore keep mostly subtropical species. I also like to keep fish that are on the smaller side that do well in tanks 20 gallons or less. I only sell what I produce myself and take pride in what I do.

I am not a reseller. All plants, fish and invertebrates I sell, I have produced myself. I want my customers to be fully satisfied with their purchase and will do everything I can to make that happen. Nobody wants to purchase livestock or plants and not have them do well. I offer a Live Arrival Guarantee for all livestock within 2 hours of the first delivery or pick up at the US post Office. When possible, I will provide extras to cover any losses. Please contact me within 2 hours of the first delivery attempt or pick of from the US post office if there are any DOA�s. I will need a clear picture of them in the sealed original bag. Any losses beyond the extras will be either be replaced at my cost including shipping if possible or refunded. I also provide a guarantee for any livestock that are lost within 72 hours of arrival. If possible, I will provide replacements with the buyer paying shipping or a refund for any losses. I am not responsible for missed deliveries, shipping delays or weather issues. My fish room is slightly heated and my tanks run between 68f and 75f based on what level they are. My water is hard with a PH close to 8 and I do water changes whenever my nitrates hit 40. If you have any questions about something I am selling please feel free to reach out to me.
