Just me with ShelleyD!
Lots and lots of snails--and sometimes fish or plants too!
Right now I'm mostly shipping snails--mystery, ramshorn, bladder, and trumpet snails. I do occasionally list some low-light plants (hornwort, moss, duckweed, ferns), and sometimes have some extra guppy or Endler's Livebearer fry too! But for now it's mostly snails, snails, and more snails! --Shipping is ALWAYS based on your zip code and the weight of the package (Unless shipping is free, then it's free!). I don't charge a flat shipping fee. I can't, in good conscience, charge someone $15 to ship something that usually costs only $6-$10 --All livestock are shipped in insulated boxes. Fish are ALWAYS shipped in a styro-lined box, snails are shipped in styro-lined boxes or in small flat rate box with fiberglass insulation. During the warmer months, trumpet, ramshorn, and bladder snails can be shipped via First Class Mail in a non-insulated box to save $$ on shipping. --Heat/cold packs are NOT included in the shipping fees. If you need a heat/cold pack you need to ask for one. Heat packs are an additional $2, cold packs are $1.
Shipping and DOA policy
Live arrival is guaranteed on ALL shipments that meet the following requirements: SNAILS: --you choose USPS Express or Priority shipping between November and March --your low temps are not below 40 degrees (for shipping without heat) or below 10 degrees (for shipping with heat) --your high temps are not above 90 degrees ***All Priority, Express, or First Class snail shipments are guaranteed live arrival April through October*** FISH: --you choose Express shipping ONLY with HEAT during the months of November through March ***All Priority or Express shipments are guaranteed live arrival April through October (provided that your lows are not below 60 degrees or you purchase a heat pack if your low temps are between 40 and 60).*** PLANTS: Plants are shipped via USPS first class mail or USPS priority mail. Plant bags are wrapped in fiberglass insulation. All plants are guaranteed live arrival year-round. Live arrival/DOA policy Fish and Snails: Pictures of DOA required within 24 hours of delivery. Pictures must show a squished snail or a fish cut in half. This is the only way I know that they are truly dead. Refund of cost of dead livestock (minus shipping fees) or replacements (when available-buyer pays shipping) provided for DOA. I refund only the DOA, so if you order 5 and you receive 2 dead and 3 live fish you will receive a refund for 2 fish. However, I replace the entire order if you request a replacement, so if you don't want X number more, please let me know!
