Add some cute pops of color in you planted tank with COLORFUL RAMS HORNS! This listing is for ten Red Ramshorn snails for cute color and cleanup in your new tank. You will receive at least ten JUVENILES in various shades of gold/ coppery, Fire red, Salmon-y and Maroon. Adults are pictured, so you can see what they look like fully grown. I want to add this again: This listing is for the JUVENILE OFFSPRING, from the adults pictured. The ones you receive will be small, and not fully grown. Ramshorns are chill dudes who do not eat plants nor will they bother shrimp or other tank-mates. They mostly chug around eating detritus and algae, and will scrub your plants of dead matter and other algae growing on the surface. Rams horns, like most snails, do not need any sort of dedicated food source. They are most pleased doing what they do naturally, hanging out on plants, surfaces, and substrate cleaning up after other tank mates. If you overfeed, the snails will believe more of a cleanup crew are needed, and will quickly solve that problem by reproducing. These work fabulously in community tanks without aggressive tank-mates. Loaches, Chiclids, Puffers and the like will quickly attack and decimate your new snails. When you receive these, you'll notice they will be curled up tightly pretty far up inside their shells. This is normal! They have retreated to conserve their metabolism and moisture during shipping. Just pop them into some tank water, and they'll begin to move around within minutes. Any completely empty shells, or ones that just dont move after about 24 hours, probably didnt make it. :( Ive included a couple extras just in case of any DOAs, but do contact me if you dont wind up with at least ten live babies. Check out my other listings for Blue and Pink or a Colorful Mix of Ramshorn snails ~! These are homebred here in the US (Kansas) and are not farmed nor imported. I take a lot of pride in this hobby. I'm very careful, and I use methods that have consistently gotten the best results over years. Lot of love going into this hobby. Please don't leave them to roast or freeze in a mailbox🙏 Re: your feedback, we will be shipping on Mondays/Fridays to give your order the best chance of making to you before the weekend :) Please be sure your address is correct! Taking Venmo and Paypal only. Thank you for looking, aqua friends! Cassandra @GlassGrown.com
